Directly after watching that one I asked myself hmmmmmm was it made live or was it Computer Generated Imagery similar to what you see in big Hollywood blockbusters such as Avatar. I suppose I'm even more atuned to that kind of question because I'm a photographer and because I too have completely changed the background of a photo or given a nip and tuck retouch to a client to give their portrait the appearence they envisioned of themselves.

Well thank you to Leo Leporte to thetwit.tv we can all be let in on the secret of how this commercial was shot because he has posted on YouTube his interview with the commercials creators and I figured I would share it here.

I also want to give a shout out to Chase Jarvis a commercial photographer I am a fan of, where I first saw this clip.

Kind of an Industrial sound with influneces from Nine Inch Nails and KMFDM among others. They had a great performance and their LED light show made for some great photographs. Below is a collage of some of the pictures I took that night.

Enjoy!

We agreed to meet in Denver and shoot around Lodo. They didn't have a ton of time and the sun was very high in the sky which is the absolute worst time for a photographer to work his magic. I think their photographs turned out amazing, Tiffany gave them to John as a Christmas gift which I am sure he will cherish.

We ended up near Elitch's which made for a interesting backdrop, we also took some shots near some Lofts by Coors Field which I think came out with an old world romantic flavor to them... Took on the effect as if I photographed them along the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy rather than Denver, Colorado!

I'm curious as to how it looks now as in comparison to before; it now has LED lighting they are going to leave up all year round to save the expense of taking them down and putting them up.

I hope you enjoy Happy Holidays, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or Three Kings Day!
